Routine maintenance is one of the best ways to keep your vehicle running as best as it can. Here at Santa Cruz Imported Truck we only use high quality synthetic oil to ensure longevity of your engine. Our oil changes not only include the basic drain, and fill of oil and new oil filter, but we take it one step further and will tighten belts if needed, top off other fluids, and lube any driveshaft components, as well as perform a 21- point inspection. During the inspection process if we see anything that requires immediate attention we will notify you, if not we will give “recommendations” or things to “keep an eye on.” We recommend that routine oil change services happen every 5,000 miles, or every 5 months (whichever comes first). Under certain circumstances there are exceptions in which it is possible to extend the interval between oil changes to 7,000 – 10,000 miles, but this is very rare based on real world examples.
